Tesla has refreshed its Model 3 lineup in Israel, introducing improved range across all trims, a new battery pack, and the return of a traditional turn signal stalk — marking a notable update for local buyers. The refreshed Model 3 and Model Y come less than two years after their major Highland and Juniper overhauls (via The Jerusalem Post).
The biggest change is to the Model 3 Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive, which now delivers an impressive 750 km of range — making it the longest-range electric vehicle in Israel, surpassing even the Cadillac Escalade IQ at roughly one-third of the price. Tesla hasn’t officially disclosed the new battery’s capacity, but it’s believed to be around 82 kWh.
Here’s a look at the updated Model 3 lineup in Israel:
- Model 3 RWD: 554 km range (18-inch wheels) / 520 km (19-inch wheels) — NIS 211,000
- Model 3 Long Range RWD: 750 km range — NIS 226,000
- Model 3 Long Range AWD: 660 km range — NIS 244,000
- Model 3 Performance: 571 km range — NIS 291,000
The reintroduction of the turn signal stalk is another highlight. Tesla had removed the stalk in the Highland refresh in favour of steering wheel touch buttons — a decision that proved unpopular among many owners. The stalk’s return aligns with Tesla’s global course correction, having already brought it back to the Model 3 in China in August, and more recently to the U.S., including on the new Model 3 Standard RWD, Tesla’s most affordable offering yet.
It’s unclear whether Israeli customers will be offered the same stalk retrofit option now available in the U.S., China, and Europe.
Meanwhile, the Model Y has also gained new batteries, with the Long Range dual-motor variant now offering 629 km of range, up from 586 km, priced at NIS 287,000.
Earlier this month, Tesla launched the same Model 3 Long Range RWD with 750 km of range and the restored turn signal stalk in Australia and New Zealand, suggesting that the refreshed design is quickly expanding to more global markets.
