Tesla Cybertruck owners will soon be able to enjoy complete Full Self-Driving (Supervised) functionality with version 14, according to Tesla’s VP of AI, Ashok Elluswamy.
In a post on X, Elluswamy confirmed that the Cybertruck will receive the “full-featured version” of FSD 14, meaning it will be capable of reversing, parking itself, and performing other advanced maneuvers previously unavailable on the pickup. When asked directly if the Cybertruck will get these capabilities, Elluswamy replied with a confident “Yes,” confirming what many owners have been waiting to hear.
The news comes as Tesla officially began rolling out Full Self-Driving (Supervised) version 14.1 earlier today with software update 2025.32.8.5, which adds a host of major improvements.
These include new Arrival Options for selecting where FSD should park — such as in a driveway, parking garage, or curbside — as well as significant updates to emergency vehicle handling, navigation, and real-time detour routing. The latest version also introduces a new “Sloth” speed profile, optimized camera cleaning features, and smarter obstacle avoidance.
Elluswamy said the rollout of FSD 14.1 marks the first in a series of version 14 releases that will continue “through the rest of this year,” each bringing “significant improvements.” Tesla CEO Elon Musk echoed that sentiment, noting that FSD 14.2 is expected to begin rolling out “in a few weeks,” followed by 14.3 shortly after — depending on safety validation.
Cybertruck owners have been waiting since launch for full FSD functionality. While the vehicle already includes Tesla’s latest Autopilot hardware suite, its all-wheel steering system requires “a bit more Autopilot training,” Musk explained in a separate post. With FSD 14, Tesla appears to be closing that gap, finally enabling the Cybertruck to perform complex self-driving and parking maneuvers on par with other Tesla models.
As FSD 14 continues to expand across the fleet, the Cybertruck’s full integration marks another key step toward Tesla’s vision of a unified, next-generation self-driving platform.
