Tesla has introduced a new subscription service for Cybertruck owners in the U.S., offering windshield protection for $35 per month. The subscription includes up to one free windshield replacement every 12 months, along with unlimited chip or minor crack repairs. For additional replacements within the same year, a $100 deductible applies.

According to Tesla’s support page, the Windshield Protection Plan is designed to provide convenience and peace of mind while reducing insurance claims and unexpected repair costs. Coverage applies only to the front windshield, ensuring that any repair or replacement is carried out with OEM glass and proper calibration of Tesla’s advanced camera and safety systems.

Subscribing is straightforward. To enroll in the Windshield Protection Plan:

  1. Open the Tesla app.
  2. Tap Upgrades > Service Plans > Windshield Protection.
  3. Review the terms and tap Subscribe.

The Cybertruck is the latest model to gain monthly windshield coverage. Tesla first launched the subscription for its S3XY lineup back in June, and earlier this month, the company also rolled out a separate monthly wheel and tire protection plan, which is likewise available for the Cybertruck.

This offering comes on the heels of Tesla raising the price of the top-end Cybertruck Cyberbeast last week, while making premium perks like FSD (Supervised), free lifetime Supercharging, windshield protection, wheel and tire protection, and more standard for new orders.

By continuing to expand its suite of subscription-based services, Tesla is giving owners flexible, cancel-anytime options to safeguard against common repair costs, particularly on vehicles like the Cybertruck, which features one of the most unique and largest windshields of any production vehicle.
