Tesla has officially announced the launch of the Cybertruck in South Korea, marking the long-awaited debut of its angular electric pickup in the country.
According to Tesla Korea, existing reservation holders will be able to log in to their Tesla accounts and confirm their Cybertruck orders starting August 29, 2025, through September 4, 2025. New orders will open on September 5. The automaker shared the announcement on X, calling the Cybertruck a “bold future luxury” product landing in Korea.

As for pricing, Tesla has set the Cybertruck All-Wheel Drive (AWD) at 145,000,000 won (approximately $107,000 USD) and the range-topping Cybertruck Cyberbeast at 160,000,000 won (approximately $118,000 USD). In the U.S., Tesla recently increased the Cyberbeast’s price by $15,000 USD, but all new orders now include the Luxe Package, bundling premium perks such as Full Self-Driving (Supervised) at no additional cost.
The Cybertruck launch in South Korea comes shortly after Tesla set a new monthly sales record in the country last month, showing surging demand in a key Asian EV market. The company appears to be capitalizing on that momentum with its most distinctive model yet.
Safety credentials will likely play a major role in winning over South Korean buyers as well. Just last week, the Cybertruck secured individual 5-star ratings for both driver and passenger from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), an important milestone for a vehicle with such an unconventional design.
With pre-orders opening next week, Tesla’s sharp-edged pickup is officially expanding its global footprint — and South Korea is next in line.
