Tesla is celebrating the Fourth of July with a patriotic promotion in the U.S., offering free paint upgrades on its S3XY lineup for a limited time. The automaker announced the offer through its official Tesla North America (@tesla_na) account on X.
For a limited time, red, white, and blue paint options are available at no extra charge on new Model 3, Model Y, and 2025 Model S and Model X orders in the U.S. That’s a potential savings of up to $2,500, depending on the color and model. To take advantage of the deal, customers must place their order by July 14, 2025.

The promotion, clearly themed around Independence Day, gives buyers a chance to add a bit of patriotic flair to their new Tesla without paying the usual premium. Tesla is no stranger to tying sales initiatives to key dates, and this latest deal could help fuel demand during what’s already shaping up to be a high-stakes quarter for electric vehicle (EV) makers.
Tesla led U.S. EV sales during Q2 2025, with an estimated 151,000 units sold, firmly maintaining its dominance in the market. However, competition is heating up, and American EV shoppers are currently facing changing incentives. Just this week, the U.S. government officially passed President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill,” which will eliminate the $7,500 EV tax credit for new vehicles starting September 30, 2025. This policy change is expected to drive a surge in EV demand in the coming months as buyers rush to lock in incentives before they expire.
Tesla’s Fourth of July paint promotion couldn’t be better timed — and if you’ve been eyeing a new Model 3, Model Y, or flagship Model S/X, this could be your moment to score a festive upgrade at no extra cost.
