Starlink has launched a new limited-time promotion in the U.S. and Canada, offering a deal on its portable Mini satellite internet kit that includes both discounted hardware and a service credit — ideal for travellers, RVers, and anyone in need of reliable internet on the go.
Now through July 7th, customers can purchase the Starlink Mini for $399 USD or $499 CAD, down from its regular price of $499 USD/$599 CAD. Additionally, Starlink is offering a $100 USD/$150 CAD service credit, which will be automatically applied to your second month of service upon activation of a Roam plan.
Starlink Mini is a portable version of the company’s satellite internet kit, small enough to fit inside a backpack. It has a built-in Wi-Fi router, uses less power, and promises download speeds over 100 Mbps, depending on your location and network conditions. Setup is simple: just plug it in, point it at the sky, and you’re online in minutes.
The Mini is heavily weather-resistant and even works while in motion, at speeds up to 160 km/h. If you’re looking for fast, stable internet on the move, there’s nothing better out there.
For data, the Roam plan with 50GB costs $50 USD/$70 CAD per month, with unlimited data available for $165 USD/$189 CAD per month. In comparison, the Starlink Residential plan in Canada is $140 CAD/month, with the standard kit priced at $499 — or free in select areas. Both Roam plans work in over 100 countries and include coastal coverage. You can also freely pause/unpause service, with billing in one-month increments.
To qualify for the promo, customers must purchase the Mini kit and activate a Starlink Roam plan by July 7, 2025. The service credit will then be applied automatically. With the added $150 service credit in Canada, this deal offers more overall savings than the previous promo that lowered the Starlink Mini’s price to $399.
