Tessie’s New Feature Offers In-Depth, Toolless Scans of Your Tesla

Tessie, the popular third-party companion app for Tesla owners, has just launched a powerful new feature called Profiler, giving users and fleets real-time, OBD-level access to deep vehicle data — no extra hardware or cables required.
All Tessie Pro and Fleet users can now access Profiler through the mobile app or at dash.tessie.com/profiler. Once enabled, the feature unlocks over 200 advanced data points organized into intuitive categories like performance, charging, climate, safety systems, and more.
The standout feature? Profiler is entirely cloud-based, not requiring any dongles or physical connectors. Instead, users initiate sessions with a tap, and their vehicle firmware is temporarily reconfigured to enable high-throughput, real-time data streaming — fully encrypted, with all settings reverting to normal afterward. It works across iPhone, iPad, Android, desktop browsers, and even from within Tesla’s own in-car browser.
Whether you’re monitoring energy flow during charging, checking tire pressures mid-trip, or diagnosing an HVAC issue remotely, Profiler puts detailed insights right at your fingertips. There’s even a “Turbo” profile mode for viewing everything at once.
Privacy is a core focus: Tessie notes that all Profiler data is end-to-end encrypted, never sold, and owned entirely by the user.
The new dashboard supports all current Tesla models, including the Model S, 3, X, Y, Cybertruck, and Semi. Users get a limited number of profiling hours per vehicle per month due to the intensive nature of the data streaming process.
Tessie also announced a Profiler API, giving developers access to the same real-time feed for use in apps, automations, and fleet systems.
