Tesla has released a new interior upgrade for Model 3 and Model Y owners — a Charcoal Suede Dashboard Décor Wing, now available for $250 USD.
Designed to give the dashboard a more premium look and feel, the new trim features a deep matte gray finish made from 100% vegan suede. Tesla says the material is soft to the touch and adds a refined aesthetic to the vehicle’s interior.
The upgrade is compatible with Model Y vehicles made in 2025 and newer, and Model 3 vehicles built in 2024 or later (sorry, older customers). The price includes delivery to your local Tesla Service Center and installation.
The product is available through the Tesla app, where customers can scan a QR code or use a direct mobile link to purchase.

With local EV subsidies applied, the price drops even further — allowing some buyers to get into a […]

This upgrade should become standard in all 2025 models. I own a 2022 Model Y with a white interior. Reflections from the sun that hit my white dashboard wing often reflect off of the exterior side view mirrors creating a safety issue. I resolved the issue by replacing the white OEM dashboard wing with a 3rd party grey matte finish. Hard to believe that Tesla engineers did not address this safety issue 2-3 years ago.😩
