Tesla has announced a new paint color for the Model 3 and Model Y in the USA and Canada.
The new color is called ‘Diamond Black’ and a short video shared by Tesla shows specs of brilliant shine, like sparkles. This color replaces Solid Black and is a $1,500 US upgrade from the included Stealth Grey.
For now, Tesla’s Canadian site has yet to add Diamond Black for the new Model Y, while Solid Black remains for the Model 3. These should be updated in the next little while.
