Tesla Launches Cheaper Model Y in Canada and U.S.

Tesla has launched a cheaper version of its new Model Y in Canada and the USA today.

The previous ‘Launch Edition’ that included all options for $60,000 US is no longer available. Instead, we have the new Model Y Long Range AWD starting from $48,990 USD. It has a 327 mile range and goes 0-60 in 4.6 seconds.

A new paint color Diamond Black is available for $1,500 as an upgrade.

As for availability of this new Long Range Model Y? The website is showing 1-3 weeks.

In Canada, this new Model Y starts at $69,990 CAD. The new Diamond Black paint color is not available yet. The same availability window applies for the new Model Y in Canada at 1-3 weeks.
