First Tesla Cybertruck Test Drives to Debut at Electrify Expo

Tesla’s Cybertruck will be available for public test drives for the first time at the Electrify Expo in the San Francisco Bay Area on August 24-25.

This marks the exclusive opportunity for attendees to experience Tesla’s much-anticipated electric pickup truck. The event, held at Alameda Point, will offer a chance for EV enthusiasts, potential buyers, and curious onlookers to get behind the wheel of the Cybertruck and experience its capabilities firsthand.

“Tesla is leveraging Electrify Expo’s stop in the Bay Area as the only place in North America for people to experience the thrill and fun-factor of the Cybertruck that weekend,” said BJ Birtwell, CEO and founder of Electrify Expo, in a statement to Tesla North on Wednesday. “The Cybertruck has reimagined what is possible with an electric pickup truck and attendees will get a first-hand experience to feel the power and capabilities of this special vehicle.”

Electrify Expo San Francisco is set to be the largest EV ride-and-drive event in North America, featuring nearly 15 major automakers, including Tesla, Ford, Hyundai, and Rivian. This marks the second year Tesla has participated at the Electrify Expo.

The festival will cover over 1 million square feet and include a variety of demo zones for electric vehicles, bikes, scooters, and more. The event aims to provide a comprehensive look at the latest in electric transportation, alongside food and music to enhance the festival atmosphere.
