Tesla has introduced a new 3-Year Bundle for Model S and Model X owners in the United States, priced at $5,000 (via @BLKMDL3).
The package includes Full Self-Driving (FSD) Supervised, free unlimited Supercharging, and Premium Connectivity.
Typically, the monthly cost of FSD is $99, amounting to approximately $3,600 over three years. Premium Connectivity, which offers features such as live traffic visualization, satellite-view maps, and in-car streaming, costs $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year, totaling around $300 over three years.
This leaves $1,100 of the bundle’s cost to cover unlimited Supercharging, which translates to roughly $366.67 per year.
This bundle is especially good for Model S and Model X owners who frequently use Tesla’s Supercharging network. For those who typically spend more than $366.67 annually on Supercharging, the bundle makes sense. Tesla really is able to leverage its software revenue here and target specific owners.
For instance, drivers who cover long distances regularly and rely heavily on Superchargers could easily surpass this amount in annual Supercharging costs. In such cases, the bundle offers big savings compared to paying for these services separately, if you have the cash available.
