Cybertruck Reviewed by Ford F-350 Truck Owner [VIDEO]
Tesla’s Cybertruck recently demonstrated its robust towing capabilities in a real-world test, impressively hauling a 3,000-pound load to the dunes.
YouTube channel Minimal Duck, alongside fellow Tesla enthusiast Ryan Shaw (who had his own time with this same Cybertruck earlier), had a borrowed Cybertruck ‘Cyber Beast’ version to test from an owner.
The Cybertruck’s design includes thoughtful features like a self-popping door that prevents pinching and a strong, tough build. “This thing just feels strong and just feels tough, and it’s what a truck should be,” said Minimal Duck.
To provide a comprehensive review, Andy, a seasoned truck owner who drives an F350 Power Stroke, (a big ass diesel truck), to share his insights. Initially skeptical, Andy noted the Cybertruck’s distinctiveness, saying, “It’s different, it’s definitely different and not what I’m used to driving.”
During the test, the Cybertruck impressively handled the 3,000-pound load, with the regenerative braking system still feeling sensitive. Andy remarked on the truck’s performance, “There’s no way I would be able to tell there’s something back there because even the acceleration doesn’t feel like it’s lagging at all.”
The video also highlighted the Cybertruck’s potential for small business owners who need to transport trailers to different job sites. “This thing can perform pretty dang well,” Andy added, acknowledging the truck’s capabilities.
The Cybertruck’s interior features, such as a high-quality sound system, were also showcased. Andy compared it favorably to his truck’s premium sound system, stating, “My truck has a sub and premium sound, and it doesn’t sound this good.” Shaw commented it audio system was better than his experience in a Rivian R1T.
The test concluded with off-roading in the dunes, where the Cybertruck’s performance was described as “effortless” and “awesome.” Minimal Duck, a first-time truck driver, was impressed with the control and power of the Cybertruck, even in challenging terrain. They did take it easy on the dunes to be respectful of the Cybertruck’s new vehicle that was kindly loaned for the test.
