Tesla’s 1:18 scale Cybertruck diecast model costs $225 USD and we’re seeing some first unboxing pictures on the web, shared on X.

Philipp Weibel in Switzerland showed off his Cybertruck diecast and we’re seeing this new diecast in the flesh for the first time.

According to Wiebel, he says the Cybertruck diecast “is quite heavy and the surface is very elegant, there are metal parts, but I am not sure whether the surface (body) is metal or not. It feels cold but is not magnetic.” Check out the two other pictures shared below by Wiebel:

The model does not have the massive windshield wiper as seen on the actual Cybertruck.

Tesla says the diecast re-creates the actual vehicle using the same 3D CAD data employed in manufacturing the full-sized Cybertruck.

This detailed model boasts over 180 metal and plastic components. Key features include a highly detailed interior, which showcases a map of the Cybertruck’s home base on the touchscreen. The model is equipped with functioning doors, a magnetic rear lift gate, and a removable tonneau cover. Additionally, it features a panoramic glass roof, rubber tires, and steerable wheels.

The interior of the diecast Cybertruck is enhanced with carpeting and fabric seat belts, complete with buckle details, adding to its realism. The model measures 328mm in length, 125mm in width, and 103mm in height, and weighs approximately 3.348 lbs (1.519kg), reflecting the attention to detail and quality of this collector’s item.

As of writing, the Cybertruck diecast remains out of stock in the online store.
