Fully Charged calls itself the “World’s No.1 Electric Vehicle & Home Energy Show – a fun-filled festival of electrification in Australia, Europe, the UK, Canada and the US.”

The most recent event took place from November 24-26 at RAI Auditorium in Amsterdam. Here, Tesla’s newest Model 3 was on display, as you can see below:

When it came to the awards of the evening, Tesla won big at the inaugural ‘consumer choice’ awards for clean energy and EVs, taking home 5 of 15 awards:

  • Best Innovative EV Manufacturer – Tesla
  • Best Energy Efficient EV – Tesla Model 3 Long Range
  • Best EV Charging Network: Tesla Supercharger Network
  • Best EV >50,000 (<60,000) Euros – Tesla Model Y
  • Best EV >40,000 (<50,000) Euros – Tesla Model 3

The Model Y is going to be the best-selling car in Europe for 2023, the first EV and non-European car brand to do so.

After conducting a comprehensive survey of the Fully Charged SHOW audience, the initial nominees were chosen. This selection was further refined by the Fully Charged team along with a panel of 15 experts specializing in energy and transportation, leading to the final list of candidates in each category.

The voting process commenced online on November 9th and concluded on November 16th, drawing the participation of several thousand Electric Vehicle enthusiasts. These voters cast their ballots to determine the winners in 15 different categories, marking the inaugural ‘consumer choice’ awards in the realms of clean energy and electric vehicles.

“Wow, what an evening! We were blown away by the support we have received for our first ever Fully Charged AWARDS. This was the first consumer voted awards for clean energy and electric vehicles and we would like to thank all those who took the time to vote and help us choose our winners. Congratulations to all our nominees as well as the winners and we are looking forward to 2024’s awards already!” said Fully Charged’s CEO Dan Caesar.
