Tesla highlighted the benefits of its Supercharger network across the US-Canada border on Wednesday.

According to the company’s Tesla Charging account on X, there are now 13 Supercharger routes facilitating cross-border travel between the United States and Canada, and counting. One route coming soon is between Saskatchewan and North Dakota, likely connecting capital cities Regina and Bismarck.

The announcement comes as Tesla reports significant growth in its charging infrastructure. As of the third quarter of 2023, the company has seen a 31% year-over-year increase in its Supercharger stations and connectors. Specifically, Tesla now operates 5,595 Supercharger stations with a total of 51,105 connectors.

Tesla also took time to note in French as well, saying, “13 itinéraires de superchargeurs à la frontière entre les États-Unis et le Canada, et d’autres à venir.”

The expansion aims to enhance the convenience and range confidence for Tesla owners traveling between the two countries, further solidifying Tesla’s position in the electric vehicle market.
