First Look: Tesla Cybertruck Ambient Lighting, Front Bumper Camera View
In a fresh glimpse of Tesla’s much-anticipated Cybertruck, enthusiasts are getting a peek at some novel features.
For the first time, ambient lighting can be seen illuminating the truck’s interior. This exclusive sneak peek was shared by a Reddit user, u/ThrowAwayBarista69, who chanced upon the vehicle at an the Raising Canes restaurant in Austin, Texas.
The user remarked, “Yes, looks like ambient lighting! Tried to snap a few pics of the interior without looking like a weirdo.” Their excitement continued saying, “Amazing, have never been so excited to see a vehicle in person. I knew it was huge but it’s HUGE; the lowest point is taller than my girlfriend who is 5 foot.”
In a slightly amusing note, the user also pointed out that the Cybertruck, possibly fresh from some testing or a joyride, wasn’t in pristine condition: “Also, surprisingly dirty, there was a huge handprint on the rear panel which made me laugh.”
Adding to the intrigue, the shared images also provide a first-time view from the Cybertruck’s front bumper camera. We’ve seen this camera before on prototypes spotted out in the wild.
Earlier today, Tesla CEO Elon Musk teased a production candidate of the Cybertruck, saying he just drove it at Giga Texas. Musk also replied to a question about when final specs and pricing would be revealed, only to say info would come when Tesla is ready.
Gosh, Cybertruck hype is reaching super high levels right now. Is this the case of being somewhere at the right time? Or a perfectly planned leak on back channels?
