Tesla tweaked its paint colours for Model Y beyond the U.S. and Canada tonight, as the entry RWD version from Giga Berlin now has two more colors (via @Tslachan).
The Model Y RWD previously only had options of white, black and blue, but now Midnight Cherry Red and Quicksilver are now available. These two colors first debuted for the Long Range and Performance Model Y from Giga Berlin.
The expansion of these two colors for the Model Y RWD from Giga Berlin will extend to all customers in Europe and the Middle East. The colors will add more options for buyers seeking to purchase the entry Model Y RWD.
As it stands, Midnight Cherry Red and Quicksilver remain exclusive colors for the Model Y made at Giga Berlin’s super duper paint shop in Germany, and likely won’t be coming to North America anytime soon.
Deliveries of new Midnight Cherry Red Model Y vehicles started back in May of this year.
