
Tesla announced on Monday the first Model Y deliveries have taken place in Turkey, sharing pictures of a Quicksilver version of the compact crossover.
Another picture shared the back plate being applied to the Model Y in Quicksilver, with the latter color only available from Giga Berlin for Europe and soon the Middle East this year.
Last month, Tesla officially launched the Model Y in Turkey after teasing an announcement was coming. The Model Y Standard Range was priced at 1,548,732 ₺; Model Y Long Range AWD priced at 1,619,532 ₺; and the Model Y Performance priced at 1,778,821 ₺, as of the announcement.
In April, Giga Berlin ramped up its Model Y production to 5,000 cars per week, and this milestone has greatly helped the electric compact crossover become the top selling vehicle in Europe in Q1.
This weekend also saw the first Midnight Cherry Red Model Y deliveries take place in Europe, with the car also making its way to Tesla showrooms.
