Tesla Giga Texas Entrance Nears Completion, Ahead of Investor Day [VIDEO]
Tesla is nearing the completion of a new grand entryway into its Austin, Texas Gigafactory, as spotted by @Jeff Roberts over the weekend.
The entry features a geometric concrete pour with multiple different ramps and walkways, all pointing toward the entrance in the center. The angular style of the entrance can be likened to that of the Cybertruck, or as @Tesla Owners Club East Bay points out, the Cyber Whistle.
You can see in the video two triangular pyramid pours taking place, leading up to the entrance.
Roberts also notes that the grand entrance is “almost ready for Investor Day,” which is set to take place on Wednesday at the Gigafactory.
A recent filing shows Tesla’s plans to spend $717 expanding Giga Texas, set to include plans for multiple buildings.
Tesla is also expected to unveil its Master Plan 3 at the Investor Day event, according to a recent statement from CEO Elon Musk.

Along with the unveiling of the next Master Plan, Tesla is expected to talk about its next-generation car platform, its long-term expansion plans, capital allocation and more at the live-streamed event.
The meeting also comes amidst sightings of Tesla’s “Highland” Model 3, in which the company is expected to simplify the production design of its flagship electric sedan. A recent report says that Tesla is already preparing production lines at Giga Shanghai for the updated design.
