Tesla Said to Be Testing Full Self-Driving Beta in the UK
Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta is allegedly being tested in the United Kingdom, as noted by @Teslascope on Monday, running off of an internal build of single-stack software.
The Teslascope account says Tesla has been testing the FSD beta “with the help of dozens of primarily secret employees.”
Later in the thread, the account adds that the company has worked with employees writing and testing thousands of specialized builds under the helm of its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Engineers and Test Operators.
The FSD beta testing program, while internal and secretive, has apparently been verified by Teslascope through stories from a combination of temporary and long-term prior employees.

Code discovered from as far back as a year ago showed that Tesla was testing the FSD beta in Europe.
Teslascope also notes that Tesla has had operational software for the FSD beta on right-hand-drive vehicles for many months, though it still faces some barriers to becoming ready for customer use.
Tesla will also reportedly expand FSD to more countries in 2023, and while the account says it hasn’t been given permission to share what other countries will specifically receive the semi-autonomous driving system, it added that ADAS hires have been made in at least Norway and Berlin.
Last night, Tesla started rolling out its 2022 holiday software update to FSD beta testers.
