Tesla’s Semi delivery event is slated to take place on Thursday, December 1, 2022, and now the company has started sending out event invites.
According to a screenshot of the invite shared by Luca Atalla (@lucaatalla), it asks for those that received it to RSVP by 11:59 on November 28, 2022.
The Tesla Semi delivery event will take place at Giga Nevada.
Less than a week ago, Martin Viecha, Head of Investor Relations at Tesla said, “If you want to attend the Semi delivery event as a retail shareholder, please make sure you have a verified shareholder status on our IR website (unverified manual submissions are eligible if the paperwork is correct).”
He added, “We’ll be doing a random draw where 1 share = 1 entry.”
Tesla previously said it plans to make 50,000 Semi trucks in 2024 for the North American market.
Update Nov. 17, 9:14pm PT: According to information obtained by Tesla North, the Semi Delivery Event will take place at 3pm PDT. Tesla’s invitation says “you’ll hear the latest Semi updates from Tesla executives, tour our manufacturing facility and witness our first customer vehicles.”
