SpaceX’s Starlink donation page went live on Thursday, roughly one month after CEO Elon Musk shared plans for the feature.

“Donate a Starlink to an organization or community in need,” SpaceX says on the web page. “Please note, Starlink donations do not qualify as tax-deductible charitable donations.”

On the donation page, SpaceX lets users either donate to the organization of their choice, or to a “Starlink cause,” from the company’s ongoing backlog of requests for help across the education, telehealth, emergency response and humanitarian sectors.

To donate to an organization of your choice, the site directs you to its RV Starlink page where users can order Starlink service on behalf of chosen organizations, after confirming that they’re located in a serviceable area and are willing to accept your donation.

For donations going to organizations chosen by SpaceX, users can navigate to the donate now button on the page, then select a service donation level and fill out the necessary information.

Users will need to donate the Starlink hardware for $599, then choosing between one, two and three years of service for $1,320, $2,640 or $3,960, respectively.

The idea for the feature came after Musk retweeted a company CEO’s post saying that he would be glad to donate equipment and service to schools and hospitals in Uganda, to which Musk said the company would add a donate option.
