Tesla Plans 63-Stall Supercharger in Lebec, California with Restaurant, Drive-Thru Cafe
One of Tesla’s newest Superchargers is set to be built in Southern California and it will be one of the largest stations yet.
A new Tesla Supercharger with 63 fast-charging stalls and nine regular stalls is headed to the California Grapevine, according to a permit application dated October 7, reports @MarcoRPTesla.
The Supercharger application also says the site will include updated landscaping, as well as a new restaurant and drive-through café, located right off of I-5 in the Grapevine area of Lebec.

The application notes that seven existing structures in the area will be demolished before a new parking lot is developed.
The specific location of the Supercharger site is listed as 49771 Gorman Post Road, Lebec, California on the permit.
The permit also doesn’t list a completion date, but based on Tesla’s other major Supercharging projects, it could be done as soon as early 2023 — or it could take a while, if it’s anything like the 62-stall in Santa Monica.
One user in the thread noted that the location was a good strategic location, ranging a good distance between other Supercharger stations.
Tesla announced on Thursday that it reached 10 years of Superchargers, and it’s shooting to increase the charging hardware by 33 percent to 38,883 in the third quarter of the year.
