A new electric vehicle (EV) crossover is set to hit markets in the late fall, featuring up to 304 miles (489 km) of range and coming from Nissan.
Nissan is set to release the Ariya electric crossover at a starting price of $43,190 in the U.S., as announced on Wednesday.
The EV crossover is set to include six trim and tier options, ranging from the starting price up to $60,190 for the highest tier performance version available.
“The Nissan Ariya is an important part of our Ambition 2030 goals to drive electrified mobility for all,” said Aditya Jairaj, director, EV marketing and sales, Nissan U.S. “With Nissan offering an EV option for almost any driver, we’re excited for customers to experience a seamless transition to driving electric.”

Nissan will start by offering its front-wheel-drive (FWD) models first, before unveiling the other trim options down the road.
The Nissan Ariya includes five FWD variant options with either 63- kWh or 87-kWh batteries, including the Engage FWD, the Venture+ FWD, the Evolve+ FWD, the Empower+ FWD and the Premiere FWD.
Customers with reservations can order the Ariya EV crossover through the automaker’s special reservation.
In April, Nissan announced delays to the Ariya’s release, citing issues with the supply chain.
