FSD beta tester James Locke took his Tesla with the latest FSD build out for a spin on Saturday, putting it through the paces of what he calls “Test Loop 2” in California. You can check out Locke’s video documenting his first drive on FSD beta 10.69.1.1 below:

According to Locke, there wasn’t much of a difference on version 10.69.1.1 as compared to version 10.69.1 in his small Test Loop 2 drive. That said, FSD did handle the first unprotected left turn on the loop pretty smoothly.
Locke only had to take over from FSD one time throughout the drive, and that was out of practicing an abundance of caution. He did feel the need to press down on the accelerator a few times when FSD was going a bit too slow.
Overall, FSD did pretty well throughout the loop and managed to do an excellent job of navigating around parked cars.
However, Locke noted that FSD still needs a bit of work on turn signals. The self-driving system didn’t engage the turn signal for one right turn, and enabled it a tad late for Locke’s liking on another.
Chuck Cook also tested FSD beta 10.69.1.1 as well, check it out below:
