Tesla Launched Model Y Deliveries in Singapore This Week
Tesla launched sales of its Model Y in Singapore back in early June, and about three months later, the first deliveries took place on the island state.
Yesterday, Tesla announced the first 11 Model Y vehicles were delivered in Singapore at the Tao Payoh Experience Center, saying “congrats and welcome these 11 customers to the Tesla family!”.
In June, Tesla also launched Model Y sales in Japan, Australia and New Zealand. We saw these nations also land their first Model Y deliveries recently.

After Tesla launched Model Y sales in Singapore, the company surprisingly laid off its country manager in the nation, Christopher Bousigues.
Model Y vehicles delivered in Singapore were manufactured at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Shanghai, China, running full steam ahead after recent COVID-19 lockdowns.
