Tesla FSD Beta 10.69 Release Still Coming ‘Later Today’ Says Elon Musk
Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta 10.69 release is still slated for August 20, 2022, says CEO Elon Musk.
Some FSD beta releases have been released just after midnight PT, with many eager testers expecting FSD beta 10.69 to hit in the early hours of August 20. But that never happened.
Just moments ago, Musk confirmed FSD beta 10.69 is still coming on Saturday, noting it is a cautious release. As for the time? That’s unknown but keep an eye out for 4:20pm ET or PT?
“As mentioned previously, this is a major release, so we need to be cautious. Goes out to ~1000 Beta participants later today,” said Musk in response to @WholeMarsBlog.
Musk stated earlier this week that after the initial cautious rollout of FSD beta 10.69, subsequent releases of 10.69.1 and 10.69.2 will be made available as part of a wider rollout.
FSD beta 10.69 is expected to bring some major changes including how the system handles unprotected left turns, specifically the difficult scenario being tested by Chuck Cook.
Thank you @elonmusk if I am in that small group, you can count on the necessary caution. I appreciate the enormous efforts of the FSD Team.
