Lexus Electrified Sport Concept Visits Monterey Car Week at Pebble Beach [VIDEO]
With Lexus’s electric vehicle (EV) plans quietly ramp up behind the scenes, the automaker is finally ready to debut a new upcoming vehicle and more details about the coming years.
Lexus is set to tease the Electrified Sport concept car in the U.S. this month at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, according to a press release shared on Monday.
The official Lexus event will begin with a cocktail reception on Thursday, August 18, while the Next Chapter of Lexus is set to be unveiled on Friday, August 19 at 1:10 p.m. The discussion will be headed by Lexus VP of Marketing Vinay Shahani and Brand Ambassador Townsend Bell.
Among the topics discussed will include the 2023 RX 500h F Sport Performance, developments in Lexus Racing and more detail on the brand from Townsend.
Lexus also plans to hold a drawing to support the Boys and Girls Clubs of Monterey County on Sunday, August 21, through the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Charity.
Earlier this year, Lexus debuted the 2023 Lexus RZ 450e electric crossover, its first all-electric EV for the U.S. market.
In December, Lexus announced it planned to spend $70 billion to go electric by 2030 and it would shift to a full EV/hybrid lineup by 2025, after debuting the LF-Z electric concept earlier that year.
