SpaceX Reveals Larger Plans for Roberts Road Starship Production Area

As SpaceX continues to shape its plans around the upcoming Starship reusable rocket, the company has upgraded its plans for expansion of the spacecraft’s production area.
SpaceX has submitted updated plans for an upcoming Starship production area, adding about 136,000 square feet of extra space, according to plans shared by @Harry Stranger on Wednesday.

The main factory is now a total of 648,000sqft, that's 136,000sqft larger than in previous plans.

The new plans show a total area of 648,000 square feet, significantly larger than the company’s originally submitted plans.
In the plans, we can see two production high-bay areas, each of which is 32,136 square feet.
The site will be located at the Roberts Road Starship production area, between the Florida launch site’s 39A launch complex and LC-49.

Additionally, Stranger shared a top-down satellite image of where the main building would be located at the NASA’s launch site in Cape Canaveral.
The launch of the Starship has been delayed multiple times due to an ongoing environmental review, this time being delayed to June 13.
SpaceX rolled the SN24 onto the launch pad in Boca Chica, Texas last week, ahead of the launch that turned out to be pushed back.
