Porsche is set to become the exclusive vehicle supplier of the Air Canada Chauffeur Service at the Toronto-Pearson airport with electric and hybrid plugin vehicles, said the companies on Thursday.
Porsche EV options for the service include the electric Porsche Taycan and hybrid Panamera and Cayenne vehicles.

The service will be offered to customers in the Signature Class for flights connecting to Asia, Europe and South America.

The news also comes just after the re-opening of Air Canada at the Toronto-Pearson airport, and just ahead of the Air Canada Signature Suite’s re-opening at the Vancouver International Airport later in the spring.
The partnership with Porsche is set to be introduced later on in 2022, as detailed in the press release.
Last month, the Porsche CEO announced plans for electric Macan and 718 models
Porsche is also investing $565 million for an EV factory to build electric Cayman and Boxer units.
In addition, Porsche’s EVs outsold all gas cars combined in Norway in January, showing high demand for the vehicles in one of the world’s quickest EV-adopting countries.
