Tesla has started to roll out its 2022.12.1 software update in Germany, and with it debuts Disney+ in Europe for the first time.

According to @Tesla_Adri on Wednesday morning, the German Tesla owner said they were one of the first to receive the 2022.12.1 software update. Others chimed in to say they also received the update in Europe, including Tesla owners in Denmark.

2022.12.1 release notes shared by @Tesla_Adri confirm Disney+ also launches in Europe, just like it did for Canada when the latter received the same update.

It marks the second expansion of Disney+ outside the US, after Tesla CEO Elon Musk confirmed it was Disney limiting the original launch to the automaker’s home country.

According to @Tesla_Adri, undocumented changes in the 2022.12.1 update include an option to clear all browser data, a link to Tesla’s privacy notice, plus what he believes are improvements to the vehicle browser for faster performance.

The release notes for 2022.12.1 can be found here; the update brings new custom changes for the bottom bar, improvements to child lock, mobile app controls for Dog Mode and Camp Mode, plus Turkish language support.
