
Tesla has started rolling out its 2022.8.2.5 software update, as detected by third-party companion software, @Teslascope.
A Model 3 Standard Range in England, United Kingdom, received the update. Two vehicles are downloading this update from the Teslascope fleet.
Tesla released its 2022.8.2 software update back on March 15, which included improved estimated charging times and other improvements.
When 2022.8.2.5 release notes are available, we’ll update this post accordingly.
Update April 12: We now have 2022.8.2.5 release notes, kindly shared by Tesla North reader Chris down in Australia, on his 2022 Model 3 Standard Range:
- Charging Time Estimation
- Vehicle Preconditioning
- Active Phone Calls
- New Language Support

Chris also noted Cabin Camera data sharing was also part of the 2022.8.2.5 software update.
Update April 15: Also part of the 2022.8.2.5 update is an update to Boombox, to limit its use only when a vehicle is in park, as part of a recent NHTSA safety recall (thanks Ryan!).
