Here are the Newest 2022 Chevy Bolt EV Ads [VIDEOS]

After a rough year of fire risk recalls on every Chevy Bolt electric vehicle (EV) ever made, the automaker is back and is looking to have a much better 2022 model year for the EV.

Chevrolet hopes to rebound sales of the Bolt EV this year, following a year plagued with fire risk recalls, according to a statement from the automaker’s Vice President.

In a statement on Wednesday, Chevy Vice President Steve Majoros said, “We see record numbers of sales and production for ’22, and we see ’23 being bigger than ’22. We are bullish on both EV and EUV.”

Now, as expected, Chevy has shared its latest ads for the 2022 Bolt EV, set to debut during the opening day of the MLB season. The ads are titled “Mom” and “Life Changes”, which you can check out below:

The automaker began production of its Bolt EV once again earlier this week, after halting production on the vehicle since last August.

Chevy began installing updated batteries in older Bolt EV models earlier this month, with customers that have the 2020 and 2021 model years getting new batteries without significant risk of fires.

The 2022 Chevy Bolt comes in either EV or EUV variants, with the U standing for “Utility” and this model having about 6.2 inches of extra length on the body.

Chevy also recently shared a series of ads part of an “EV Academy” playlist, detailing more features of the Bolt EV and EUV:

According to GM, its ad spend on the Bolt EV will be only second to the Silverado, and it’s starting to show, as the company attempts to recover the Bolt EV’s image from its massive battery recall over fire risks.
