Tesla CEO Elon Musk has shared an update on the status of Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta for Canada, noting on Thursday evening it will arrive “next week” for Canadians. Yes, this is another delay of FSD beta for the Great White North.
Responding to one of his own tweets to @WholeMarsBlog, Musk said, “FSD releasing to Canada next week.”
Back on March 5, Musk said FSD beta 10.12 would make its way to Canada on March 11, but that never materialized. In late February, Tesla released 2022.4.5.4, which introduced the ‘Request Full Self-Driving Beta’ button in Canada.
Since then, Canadians that paid $10,600 CAD for FSD, have been trying to earn perfect 100 Safety Scores, ahead of the release of FSD beta software.
Tesla and Musk’s timelines frequently change and this has been the case with FSD beta for Canada, which will mark the first expansion of the beta software outside the United States, which currently has a test fleet of about 60,000 owners.
