This past week was rather slow for Tesla on the Superchargers front — a rare occurrence. The electric vehicle (EV) maker only added four new installations to its steadily growing, global network of Superchargers, as opposed to ten the week before.
If you would like a glimpse at just how fast-paced Tesla’s deployment of its Superchargers is, you should take a look at how the company’s contractors put up 12 new Supercharging stalls at a site in Brooksville, Florida, in just eight days.
Last week, Tesla launched pay-by-minute charging rates at Supercharger stations across Canada, making Supercharging sessions more expensive in most cases. The company had made similar changes to Supercharger billing in the U.S. back in November 2021.
