First Jeep Electric SUV Unveiled, Coming in 2023
Following news of the first Dodge and Jeep electric vehicles (EVs) being set to launch in 2022-2023, parent company Stellantis has shared first shots of an upcoming electric SUV.
Jeep shared photos of its first battery-electric crossover SUV on Tuesday, which the company says is set to launch in Europe in the first half of 2023, according to Auto Express.
In the photos, we can see a comparable rear-end to the Cherokee or Renegade models, with a bulky fender kit and body all around.
The battery-electric crossover SUV has yet to be given a name publicly, and it’s also not clear if the EV will launch beyond European markets right away.

Still, Jeep Head Christian Meunier says that Jeep will have an EV in every segment by 2025.
Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares said at the unveiling that the automaker was looking to have 100 percent of its lineup made up of EVs by 2026, ahead of the company’s plans to double its revenues in a shift to EVs by 2030.
Jeep also announced last year that it would install EV chargers at off-road trails throughout the U.S., not unlike the Amazon-backed startup Rivian’s plans to install EV chargers at various unique, adventurous locations, announced just months prior.
