Electric pickup trucks are just beginning to be revealed and released by automakers, and one vehicle company is doing a little extra work to collect feedback from its customers.

Ram is collecting input from fans ahead of an expected 2024 release of its Ram 1500 EV truck, as part of a new social media campaign.

In addition to sharing a pair of concept images for the electric pickup, the company is launching a program called Ram Revolution for gathering feedback and sharing updates on the upcoming EV.

“The revolution starts with you,” explains Ram. “You’ve helped us come this far, and together we’ll go even farther. We’re on a journey to build the next generation of Ram trucks and vans. And with your help, we plan to deliver solutions that are expected to outperform the rest. Let’s do this together,” says the Ram website.

In a statement to Automotive News, Ram CEO Mike Koval said the Ram Revolution program to “gather meaningful feedback” from fans and “understand their wants and needs and address their concerns – ultimately allowing us to deliver the best electric pickup truck on the market with the Ram 1500 BEV.

The program is hosted at RamRevolution.com and will coincide with the Ram Real Talk Tour, a year of events dedicated to talking with consumers in person.

The news also comes as the Fiat-Chrysler-owned truck company says it plans to unveil fully-electric vehicles by 2025, with the company expecting a full lineup of EVs out by 2030.

Fiat Chrysler, a subsidiary of Stellantis, unveiled the Airflow EV concept last month while announcing plans to take its lineup all-electric by 2028.
