Tesla’s 2021 holiday software update included a new ‘megaphone’ feature for its vehicles, allowing owners to leverage their Pedestrian Warning Speaker to talk to people outside their cars while parked.

On Tuesday, Tesla highlighted the feature by sharing a video taken by Hayley Miller of Toronto, Ontario, shared in her Instagram stories. The video depicts her father using the megaphone feature to talk to her mother. That’s when hilarity ensues—check it out below:

You can use the megaphone feature under the Toybox tab in your Tesla, as long as your car has a Pedestrian Warning Speaker. The voice output sounds like ‘Robocop’, offering boatloads of fun and entertainment, especially for kids. It’s also possible to use this feature via the Sentry Live Camera feature from the Tesla mobile app, from your smartphone.
