President Biden Finally Acknowledges Tesla Without Mentioning Tesla [VIDEO]
President Joe Biden says “electric vehicles are the future” but the White House seems to have forgotten about Tesla and its efforts in pioneering EVs to the mainstream.
While Biden has praised traditional automakers like GM for “electrifying the entire automotive industry”, it has failed to mention or even acknowledge Tesla publicly—until now.
On Wednesday, the @POTUS Twitter account tweeted, “Electric vehicles are the future. With my Build Back Better Act and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, we’re going to create jobs, boost manufacturing here in the U.S., and create consumer rebates for folks to buy American-made, union-made electric vehicles.”
A short 11-second video clip detailed the history of the automobile and low and behold, a Tesla Model X was shown at the 5-second mark, but you can’t blink if you want to see it. It caught the eye of Beniko Goto though, who shared a screenshot below:
Congrats @elonmusk @POTUS finally acknowledges Tesla, just for a fraction of a second 😂 pic.twitter.com/gOGTh9Yrgj

Back in August, Biden also snubbed Tesla when it invited traditional automakers to discuss electric vehicles at the White House, but left out Musk’s company.
Speaking at the Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council Summit this week, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the U.S. should cancel the the Build Back Better Act, due to its enormous spending that will add more to the nation’s debt. Musk called for the elimination of all subsidies, especially for gas and oil.
