SpaceX Targets Falcon 9 Starlink, BlackSky Launch Tonight [VIDEO]
As SpaceX continues its string of Starlink and other launches, the company will announce attempted launch windows that are tentative based on the company not encountering inclement weather.
@SpaceX announced on Thursday that it’s targeting the same evening at 6:12 p.m. for a Falcon 9 launch carrying 48 Starlink satellites and two BlackSky spacecraft, set to launch from SLC-40 in Florida.
The news comes just days after emails from SpaceX head Elon Musk showed that the company was in “crisis” due to issues with its spacecraft Raptor engines – which some claimed pointed to bankruptcy for the company.

Last month, SpaceX launched its Crew-3 mission astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS), before returning its Crew-2 mission team to Earth just a few days later.
Like Crew-2, the Crew-3 mission astronauts are expected to spend about six months in orbit at the ISS.
SpaceX also completed its first static fire test of the Starship-6 Engine last month, as part of a bid to gain the regulatory approvals needed to attempt its first launch.
In October, Musk encouraged SpaceX fans to reach out to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to help push them towards approving the very first orbital Starship launch – expected to happen last month, though it still hasn’t taken place yet.
