The Model S Plaid currently comes with a standard black interior with carbon fiber décor. Previously, a walnut décor was available for Plaid interiors of black/white and cream, but now, carbon fiber is the only option available for all three interior colour options.
The Model S Long Range still retains the walnut décor option for black/white and cream interior upgrades, which cost $2,000 USD extra.
When Tesla launched the Model S Plaid, the only trim made available was carbon fiber, but eventually, walnut décor was offered shortly afterwards, in what some believe may have been due to supply chain shortages on carbon fiber.
