A video shared on Sunday by Keelay P shows a Tesla Model X driver driving in London, England, with its passenger-side falcon wing door open, before smashing into a double-decker bus. The Model X can be seen exiting a parking structure with the passenger-side door wide open.

According to the video’s description, there didn’t seem to be any injuries, though it also notes that the damage appears to be expensive. It also notes that “Tesla club members are confused at the accident since driving with an open door triggers an alarm on the dash.” The description goes on to say that “It may have been a Tesla malfunction.”

In the video, you can see the bus driver duck and move out of the way of the Model X door, as the crash leaves both the door and the bus window severely damaged.

In the Tesla Model X, the driver can open and close the falcon wing doors using a button, and drivers should not be able to drive with doors open without getting a warning, according to Tesla.

Transport for London (TfL) confirmed to Insider that the crash occurred on Saturday, August 14, in the afternoon in Southgate, north London.

“We are aware of an incident involving a route 125 bus on Saturday in Southgate, and a video on social media of the incident that shows what happened from an onlooker’s perspective,” said Tom Cunnington, TfL’s head of bus business development, in a statement to Insider. “It must have been a really nasty shock for the bus driver, who we wish well, and we are supporting the bus operator’s ongoing investigation.”

The news comes just weeks after a Tesla Model X captured itself getting caught in a tornado on video, in which there were reportedly no injuries.
