Tesla 2021 Annual Meeting of Shareholders Date: October 7

Tesla recently announced the time, format and location for its 2021 Annual Meeting of Stockholders on its website.

The 2021 Annual Meeting of Stockholders is slated to take place at 2:30 p.m. PDT on October 7. The event is currently set to take place in-person at Tesla’s Fremont Factory, located at 45500 Fremont Boulevard, Fremont, CA 94538.

Those plans may change, however. The announcement comes with a big asterisk on account of the COVID-19 pandemic and the looming threat of a delta variant-fueled fourth wave of infections. The disclaimer reads:

Although we currently intend to hold the 2021 Annual Meeting on October 7, 2021 and in person, we will continue to monitor public health and travel safety protocols required or recommended by federal, state and local governments. If necessary or advisable to protect our personnel and stockholders, we will change the date, time, location and/or format of the 2021 Annual Meeting and/or require specific attendance conditions or procedures. If we do so, we will publicly announce any such changes in advance, such as through a press release and/or a filing with the SEC.

Any and all Tesla shareholders can attend the event, provided that they are able to furnish proof of stock ownership.

With bombshell Q2 performance and strong year-over-year growth, this year’s Annual Meeting of Stockholders is shaping up to be quite the interesting affair.

In addition, Gigafactory Texas has already started Model Y test production, and Gigafactory Berlin is expected to get final permit approval in Q4 and start churning out electric vehicles (EVs) as early as October, adding to Tesla’s growing production capacity.
