Tesla saw a record $1.1 billion in net income in Q2, with overall revenue reaching $11.9 billion, an achievement considering the company was affected by the global chip shortage. The Tesla Semi has been delayed to 2022, while Model Y is on track for late 2021 production in Texas and Germany.
CEO Elon Musk even took some time to take a couple of jabs at Apple.
