With Tesla now delivering its Model S Plaid and Long Range electric sedan to first customers, all eyes are on the company to do the same with its Model X refresh.

According to a video shared Wednesday afternoon by Wilson Lam (@wilsonlam), a Model X refresh was seen being tested “on the 101 today”.

Lam pointed out the vehicle did not have a license plate and also was sporting 20-inch Cyberstream wheels, included with the base Long Range and Plaid versions of the SUV. The vehicle contained a yoke steering wheel.

The Model X refresh was spotted along Bayshore Freeway, part of US 101 in the San Francisco Bay Area, near The Rock Church on 929 Weddell Court in Sunnyvale.

This isn’t the first time a Model X refresh has been seen in the wild, but it’s always interesting to see as customers are awaiting deliveries of the new SUV.

Currently, new orders of the Model X refresh won’t deliver until January-February 2022 for those ordering in the United States.
