Tesla FSD 9 Beta is ‘Shipping Soon’ Says Elon Musk, Again
Tesla’s Full Self-Driving beta 9 is supposed to come out soon, as promised numerous times by CEO Elon Musk.
On Saturday morning, Musk responded to a tweet from Zack (@BLKMDL3), to say, “Haha, FSD 9 beta is shipping soon, I swear!”.
Zack shared a picture of his renamed Tesla Model 3 to “two weeks”, a tongue-in-cheek name referring to the ongoing Musk timeline on the release of FSD beta 9.
“Generalized self-driving is a hard problem, as it requires solving a large part of real-world AI. Didn’t expect it to be so hard, but the difficulty is obvious in retrospect,” added Musk. “Nothing has more degrees of freedom than reality,” he added.

Back on June 25, Musk said FSD beta 9 was set to release “hopefully next week”, but that hasn’t materialized. Back in March, Musk said FSD beta expansion would be arriving in April, but that never happened.
Regardless, it appears the release of FSD beta 9 will happen when Tesla is ready to release. Until then, we’ll just have to keep following Musk’s timeline updates.
