Tesla Model S Plaid Center Touchscreen Tilts, But ‘System Does it Automatically’
Tesla’s Model S Plaid has a 17-inch touchscreen as its main center display, to complement the 12.3-inch driver’s display and the 8-inch second-row display.
The company’s website at one point noted the center 17-inch display tilted left and right, but the text was later removed, resulting in some speculating the screen did not tilt.
But tonight, according to @dealer_of_happy, whose brother was at the Tesla event in Fremont, California, it was said that the display does tilt, but a Tesla employee said the “system does it automatically”.
I was wrong. Apparently it does tilt but Tesla employee couldn’t show how it’s works but said:
“System does it automatically”

The Tesla employee was unable to show or demonstrate how the display tilts, but we appear to have some confirmation the screen with 2200×1300 resolution does indeed move.
