
A new video from Tobias Lindh has shown more construction progress at Tesla’s Gigafactory Berlin.
In the latest video released on March 27, 2021, we see more Tesla Model Y body frames out in the open, while the site now has two remaining 110kV transformers on site, explains Lindh.
Here’s a closer look at the Tesla vehicle bodies shown on site but kept under wraps—can you tell what’s hidden beneath? The top right looks like a hatchback-type body, but most likely it’s a Model Y with its rear bumper cut?

Also new is the completion of the general roof assembly, while the second Giga Press casting machine progress is also coming along; the site will have 8 Giga Press machines total.
The video also shows a new car park next to the drive unit building, while the casting hall now also has two bridge cranes installed.

Tesla is expected to open Gigafactory Berlin later this year, where it will produce the Model Y for Europe, along with Model 3 as well.
