How to Sign Up for Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta Program

On Friday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced the company was doubling its Full Self-Driving (FSD) beta program, while planning to grow it possibly by ten-fold in the next 8.3 update.

Musk asked Tesla owners to contact the company if they wanted to become a FSD beta tester, but did not clarify how to do so.

But one day later, we now have confirmed instructions on how to do so, directly from Tesla.

On Saturday morning, Andrej Karpathy, the Director of AI at Tesla, he said on Twitter, “Yes, excited and working hard to grow the Full Self-Driving Beta RE Elon’s tweet last night. I do not directly manage the invites, please email earlyaccess@tesla.com which we are using to coordinate the program.”

So to sign up for the FSD beta program, all you have to do is email earlyaccess@tesla.com.

So far, FSD beta is only available in the United States, but Musk has promised it will be expanding to Canada next.

So far, many Tesla owners have noted they have received an auto-responder message, after sending an email to the address above.

Let us know if you’ve contacted Tesla and if you get a response to sign up to test FSD beta. You do need to have the FSD add-on purchased to be part of the program.
